Hybrid / Fully Online Option

Families have the choice of their student participating in the hybrid schedule or fully online.

Hybrid

Students will attend classes both online and in the studio. At this time, in-studio classes will be limited to a group of no more than 12 dancers. Depending upon the number of students enrolled, there may be up to two groups per level which split or rotate the in-studio classes. Students will be placed on a wait list if we reach capacity for in-studio classes.

Fully Online

Students may opt out of the in-studio classes and take all classes online. The in-studio classes will be live-streamed, so online-only students may participate in their full class schedule.

COVID-19 Participation Requirements

Face Coverings & Physical Distancing

Per Contra Costa County mandate, an appropriate face covering that fully covers the nose and mouth must be worn all times when entering/exiting or when inside the Contra Costa Ballet Centre building. Students should bring their own face covering. Students must observe physical distancing whenever possible, keeping a minimum distance of 6 feet between themselves and others.

Arrival & Departure
Students must arrive 15 minutes prior to class and stand on their marked social-distancing lines while waiting to be admitted into the building. The front door will not be open. It is very important that students arrive on time. When dropping off/picking up their child, parents should pull into a designated parking space (please do not stop in the middle of the parking lot or otherwise block the flow of traffic). Parents should wait in line with younger students. Only students participating in class will be admitted into the building. Students must be picked up outside the building promptly when class ends.

Symptom Screening

Students may have their temperature taken and/or symptoms assessed by faculty/staff and sanitize their hands upon arrival. Students with a temperature of 100.4° F or greater will not be permitted to participate. Students should not arrive for class if they, or someone they have been exposed to, have tested positive for COVID-19 or had symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 14 days or has within the past 24 hours experienced fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.

Facilities & Amenities

Students should arrive under-dressed in their ballet attire, as the dressing room is closed. The water fountain is out of service to prevent the spread of COVID-19; students should bring ample bottled water.
