Once registered, your child's place is reserved through the end of the school year. Registration for the Summer Program is accepted, on a space-available basis, through the beginning of the Summer Program.
SUMMER PROGRAM
Registration requests must be received no later than June 1st. Students should register as early as possible to ensure a place in their desired class. Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum-enrollment requirements are not met.

TUITION

FALL & SPRING SESSIONS
When registering for the Fall/Spring sessions, one month’s tuition is required for returning students (with exception of the first prorated August/September tuition payment). Thereafter, tuition payments are due the first of each month. Two months’ tuition, along with a one-time registration fee of $25, is required for new students.

Each class level’s tuition fee is calculated on an average of four weeks of lessons per month. Tuition for months that contain more or less weeks of instruction will not be adjusted, as these variations are already taken into account in the average, monthly-tuition calculation. Tuition for August and September is to be paid in one prorated payment at the time of Fall registration. Tuition for May and June is to be paid in one prorated payment due by May 1st.

There are no tuition refunds or adjustments, except for prolonged absence of ten consecutive days or more due to documented illness, injury or emergency. Tuition will not be adjusted for family vacations, so please plan vacations accordingly.

A late fee of $10.00 is charged to all accounts outstanding beyond the 10th of each month. A $30.00 service fee will be charged on all returned checks.
SUMMER PROGRAM
Registration requests must be accompanied by the full tuition (and $25 registration fee - for new students only). There are no tuition refunds or adjustments, except for prolonged absence of ten consecutive days or more due to documented illness, injury or emergency. Tuition will not be adjusted for family vacations, so please plan your vacations accordingly.
FAMILY TUITION DISCOUNT
Families with two children enrolled at the Contra Costa Ballet Centre receive a 10% discount on the lower-level child’s tuition. Families with three or more children enrolled receive a 10% discount on each child’s tuition. These discounts do not apply to students on scholarship.
MAKE-UP CLASSES
Students are encouraged to make up classes they have missed. Make-up classes must be taken at or directly below the student’s level and within four weeks of the student’s absence by signing in on the make-up sheet located at the front desk. There are no make-up classes allowed during the six weeks prior to the Student Showcase nor during Parents' Observation weeks. Students in Pre-Ballet, Basic Ballet and Level 1 are encouraged to make up classes with their usual instructor whenever that may be an option.

CLASS OBSERVATION
Parents are invited to observe their child’s class twice yearly during scheduled Parents' Observation weeks. Please refer to the Academic Calendar below for scheduled observation dates.
STUDENT WITHDRAWAL
If a student wishes to withdraw before the end of the school year, the office must be notified two weeks in advance of the withdrawal date by submitting notification in writing; otherwise two weeks’ tuition will be owed. Tuition will not be adjusted for withdrawal requests made after May 15th of the current school year unless due to a documented illness, injury or family emergency.
