Celebrating 34 years of The Nutcracker! For one weekend only, join Clara and her beloved nutcracker-turned-prince on a magical journey among giant mice and toy soldiers into the deliciously-delightful Candy Kingdom. Contra Costa Ballet brings The Nutcracker to life in this festive production filled with colorful costumes, whimsical sets and an array of talented, young dancers. This one-hour performance is an elegant introduction to the holiday classic.

Join us for our annual Spring Rep featuring Contra Costa Ballet Dancers in spectacular professionally produced productions each year. Our dancers are coached in featured roles by our world-class faculty.
STUDENT SHOWCASE
The Lesher Center for the Arts
For over 50 years, the Contra Costa Ballet Centre has been one of the most prominent classical ballet schools in California. Its annual Student Showcase is a collection of choreographed pieces that demonstrate the breadth of each level’s training over the course of the school year. Audience members have the unique experience of viewing the development of a dancer from budding pre-ballerina to aspiring professional. The performance culminates with the Contra Costa Ballet Company – the Centre’s highest level of achievement.
