Instructor

Mary Cooper Harkin began her dance training at the Lodena Edgcumbe School of Dance in Vallejo through her teen years. She continued training at Wanda Martin McGill at Napa Valley College and at Diablo Valley College. In addition she has studied at the Contra Costa Ballet Centre, Danville Ballet, and Broadway Dance Center in New York City.

Ms. Harkin specializes in teaching young dancers and has taught at several bay area schools. Her previous employment includes the San Ramon Valley Unified School District as a Para Educator, working with elementary students.

Pre-ballet and Basic ballet levels are filled with a special and tender age of aspiring creative children. Mary’s goal is to create a structured and nurturing dance atmosphere for these little ballerinas to experience the love of music combined with the grace of dance.
