The Contra Costa Ballet Centre's program serves the development of students from their first encounters with music and movement to becoming accomplished professional dancers. The curriculum encompasses three separate divisions, which are carefully designed to introduce the correct technique and instruction appropriate for the age and physical development of the student. While many students go on to pursue professional careers, the focus of training is on the excellence and joy of dance at each level of achievement.

The Contra Costa Ballet Company is a pre-professional company of unusual stature. Only a few youth groups of this quality exist in America today. The Contra Costa Ballet Centre is the home of the Contra Costa Ballet Company. Company members are from the Centre's most advanced level.
