The Contra Costa Ballet’s 20th Anniversary Gala celebrates twenty years of leadership by Richard Cammack and Zola Dishong, artistic directors of the Contra Costa Ballet Company and principals of the Contra Costa Ballet Centre.
The Gala will present the company in a retrospective of repertoire highlights featuring solos, pas de deux, excerpts from classical and contemporary ballets, and a surprise or two by Contra Costa Ballet Alumni whose careers span the San Francisco Ballet, Smuin Ballet, New York City Ballet, and Company C Contemporary Ballet. In addition to the performance, the Contra Costa Ballet Foundation will sponsor a pre-gala dinner for alumni and friends at Massimo’s in Walnut Creek at 5:00pm. After the Gala, the studios of the Contra Costa Ballet Center will be transformed into a Studio 20 Celebration.
