Once new students have been notified of their acceptance and anticipated class placement, the registration form and one-half tuition must be submitted as soon as possible. The tuition balance is due by May 17. Students are expected to attend the full 5-week session unless individual arrangements have been made with the administrator. The tuition may be pro-rated for up to 3 weeks duration. There are no refunds for classes missed except for prolonged illness or injury of ten days or more. Make-up classes may be scheduled through the school office. In the event of withdrawal, the student or parent is to notify the school in writing. If a student withdraws prior to the first class, 25% of the tuition and 50% of the dorm fee will be retained as a cancellation fee and the balance refunded. Once classes have begun, tuition is non-refundable.
Registration for currently enrolled students must be received by Saturday, April 19, accompanied by a minimum deposit of one-half of the 5-week tuition. The tuition balance is due on the first day of classes.
In order to encourage young men the Contra Costa Ballet Centre offers one-half tuition scholarships to its male students. The Contra Costa Ballet Foundation awards scholarships to students in Classes 7 and 8 who demonstrate a high potential for ballet as well as financial need. Further information can be obtained at the school office.
